IMF AI Preparedness Index (AIPI)
Claim
Covers 174 economies across four equally-weighted areas: digital infrastructure, people and labor-market policy, innovation and economic links, and regulation and ethics. The underlying measures are each rescaled to a 0–1 range (using the min-max method), then the four areas are averaged. Wealthy economies average 0.68, emerging markets 0.46, and low-income countries 0.32. The data is pulled together from the Fraser Institute, ILO, ITU, UN, UNCTAD, Universal Postal Union, World Bank, and World Economic Forum.
