Claim

NVIDIA formally launched the Vera Rubin platform at CES 2026. Rubin GPU: 336 billion transistors (two-reticle design), 50 PFLOPS NVFP4 inference, 35 PFLOPS NVFP4 training (vendor figures quoted as 5× and 3.5× Blackwell), 288 GB HBM4, 22 TB/s memory bandwidth. Vera CPU: 88 custom Olympus Arm v9.2 cores with Spatial Multi-Threading (176 threads), 1.5 TB LPDDR5x, NVLink-C2C at 1.8 TB/s. Vera Rubin NVL72 rack: 72 Rubin GPUs and 36 Vera CPUs delivering 3.6 EFLOPS NVFP4 inference and 2.5 EFLOPS NVFP4 training, 20.7 TB HBM4 capacity, 1.6 PB/s HBM bandwidth, 260 TB/s NVLink 6 rack-scale bandwidth. Full production reported Q1 2026; partner availability H2 2026. First cloud deployments announced at AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft (Fairwater AI superfactories), OCI, CoreWeave, Lambda, Nebius, Nscale. Per-rack price reported in trade press at up to $8.8 million.
