Stargate UAE (announced 22 May 2025; first phase Q3 2026)
Claim
Stargate UAE is a 1-gigawatt cluster of AI computing power being built by G42 (run by OpenAI and Oracle, with NVIDIA supplying Grace Blackwell GB300 systems, Cisco providing the networking, and SoftBank taking part) inside a planned 5-gigawatt UAE–US AI Campus. The first 200-megawatt phase is due to be finished in Q3 2026, according to Khazna Data Centres (December 2025). Reported investment is close to $20 billion. It was announced with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and U.S. President Donald Trump present.
